The Kansas City Royals won their second World Series title in three years, and now they’re on the verge of their first title in 20 years.
And they’re looking at a championship parade that will feature more than 1,000 fans in the streets of downtown Kansas City.
The parade is scheduled for Friday and is expected to draw more than 2,000 spectators, which would be a record for an annual event.
And there’s also a chance to see some of the stars of the franchise’s past come together.

The Royals are holding a $25,000, three-game ticket lottery for fans to choose from on April 19, 20 and 21.

The Royals won the first World Series championship in franchise history in 1964.
The club is now celebrating its 20th anniversary and will be making a historic announcement on Friday that will be televised live on the team’s website.
